Story

Becky Warner Founder of M.E. & You Join me, and start learning what your body has been trying to tell you. You don't need another “wellness hack." You need a framework — one that helps you understand why your energy disappeared and how to get it back. I built this framework after watching Elliot recover when every specialist had given up on him.

About M.E. & You Living
M.E. & You Living was created to support people whose illness doesn't always show clearly on paper — but profoundly shapes their daily lives.
My work is grounded in:
-
Professional training in nutrition, immunity, and metabolism
-
Registration with the Royal Society for Public Health
-
A deep respect for the complexity of chronic fatigue conditions, particularly ME/CFS
Above all, I believe people deserve to be listened to, believed, and supported with care, especially when standard systems have not provided answers.
This work is grounded in lived experience, professional training, and years of careful practice —
not quick fixes or protocols.
When my son Elliot became severely ill with ME/CFS as a teenager, we were told there was no treatment —
only energy management and antidepressants.
Despite a profound decline, his tests were repeatedly described as "normal”, and support stopped there.
During the years I spent caring for him, I immersed myself in understanding nutrition, immunity, metabolism, and biochemistry under the guidance of an experienced biochemist —
not to replace medical care, but to look more closely at what might be missed when we rely only on broad lab ranges.
As Elliot recovered and rebuilt his life, I trained to Level 5 in Nutrition, Immunity & Metabolism, and became registered with the Royal Society for Public Health.
Today, I support others living with fatigue and ME/CFS using a gentle, nutrition-focused approach that respects complexity, fragility, and the reality of long-term illness.
Why Nutrition Is Foundational to Health
Good nutrition is not about perfection, restriction, or rules.
It is about whether your body has what it needs to function, repair, and adapt.
Every system in the body depends on nutrients:
• Energy production
• Immune regulation
• Hormone balance
• Detoxification
• Nervous system stability
When key nutrients are missing, poorly absorbed, or out of balance, the body may struggle —
even if disease is not present.
For people with fatigue or ME/CFS, these systems are often under extra strain, making nutritional sufficiency even more important.

Nutrition support is not a quick fix.
Optimising nutrition and addressing deficiencies can significantly improve health and resilience, but this happens through consistency over time, not through intensity or pressure.
Especially with ME/CFS or long-term fatigue:
• Progress is often slow and uneven
• Pushing harder rarely helps
• Stability is a success, not a failure
My approach is to:
• Prioritise what matters most
• Avoid overwhelm
• make changes your body can actually tolerate
Sometimes the most important step is simply understanding what’s going on, even if action comes later.
