Gentle, nutrition-focused support for fatigue, ME/CFS, and complex symptoms
At M.E. & You Living, nutrition is at the heart of my work.
I support people living with severe fatigue, ME/CFS, and long-term unexplained symptoms, particularly when test results are described as “normal” but clearly don't reflect how unwell someone feels.
My approach is careful, compassionate, and grounded in professional training, with a strong awareness of how fragile and sensitive many bodies are after prolonged illness.
This nutrition support may be right for you if you:
-
Live with ME/CFS or severe, persistent fatigue
-
Feel there may be a nutritional, immune, or metabolic piece being missed
-
Have test results that sit “within range” but don’t align with your symptoms
-
Are sensitive to food, supplements, or interventions
-
Need a gentle, paced approach that respects post-exertional malaise
You do not need to be improving, motivated, or “ready to change” to work with me.
We work at the pace your body allows.
My Nutrition Focus
I am Level 5 qualified in Nutrition, Immunity & Metabolism and registered with the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH).
My nutrition work focuses on:
-
Supporting nourishment in the context of chronic illness
-
Understanding how nutrition interacts with immune and metabolic stress
-
Reducing unnecessary strain on already overloaded systems
There are no restrictive diets, no extremes, and no pressure to “optimise” a body that is struggling to cope.
Working With Test Results
One area I specialise in is interpreting test results using optimal ranges, rather than relying only on broad laboratory reference values.
Standard lab ranges are designed to identify disease.
They do not always reflect what is optimal for function — especially in people with fatigue, immune stress, or neurological symptoms.
Where appropriate, I can help you:
-
Understand what your results may be suggesting in real-world terms
-
Explore whether levels that are technically “normal” may still be sub-optimal for you
-
Make sense of complex or confusing reports without medical jargon
This work is always:
-
Evidence-informed
-
Within professional scope
-
Intended to support, not replace, medical care

Food, Supplements, and Sensitivity
Many people with ME/CFS and severe fatigue are highly sensitive
to foods, supplements, and even well-intentioned advice.
I work carefully with:
-
Food choices that prioritise tolerance and nourishment
-
Supplements only where appropriate, and never aggressively
-
Introducing or adjusting support slowly and cautiously, if at all
If something feels too much for your system, we stop.
Your body sets the pace.
How We Work Together
Nutrition support is offered through 1:1 health coaching, delivered in a way that respects low energy and cognitive fatigue.
Sessions are:
-
Calm and unhurried
-
Adapted to your capacity on the day
-
Focused on clarity rather than overwhelm
Between sessions, I aim to keep information simple, relevant, and manageable — not another thing for you to cope with.
